We’re running a design competition to find the 2026 Woolly Good designs. If you have an idea for a knit or crochet, ‘community’ inspired scarf, cowl or shawl, we’d love to hear about it!

The Woolly Good Gathering

Edinburgh is the city of festivals, but since 2019 it’s been missing an important one: a yarn festival! Which is why, in 2024, we created a new event in Scotland’s capital to celebrate knitters, crocheters, weavers, spinners and fibre lovers with a festival of crafts, workshops, talks, food, music and good company.  

Our team is dedicated to building an event with a large community and cooperative focus that will be a welcoming and safe space for everyone.
