Learn how to create your own beautiful, snag-free beaded stitch markers, learning from experienced jeweller Rebecca Anderson, using foundational jewellery wirework techniques.

This year, as well as creating your own totally unique stitch markers you will have to option to turn these into wearable, simple yet beautiful jewellery! You will begin by learning how to make wire-wrapped loops to create stitch markers and progress keepers, selecting your own beads from some of Rebecca’s own personal bead collection.

You will then have the option to add these to elegant sterling silver chains or hoops (supplied at cost within the class, maximum cost for turning your stitch markers into jewellery an additional £12). You’ll never be without your stitch markers again!

About Samira Hill

Rebecca Anderson AKA Songbead is a Scottish jeweller, inspired by light, colour and story, as well as being an avid knitter. Alongside her finished jewellery, she worked for many years designing jewellery for craft publications, whilst also teaching jewellery-making classes throughout the UK. She has always made her own stitch markers and offers unique sets alongside her jewellery, delighting that two of her favourite things - knitting and jewellery - can come together in this way.
