Flora Colllingwood Norris started her own label in 2016 after years of working freelance in couture as well as designing hand knit patterns and teaching. In 2017 she started exploring the possibilities of visible mending, as her large collection of second-hand sweaters needed some tender loving care. Flora now offers visible mending workshops, video tutorials, and materials

Flora will talk about Visible Creative Mending, with a focus on repairing knitwear. She will share her design journey into repairs, share examples of the different techniques she uses and her approach of design led mending. Often the garments she repairs have a lot of sentimental attachment for their owner, and she’ll share some of the stories behind them.
