This listing features the yarn base chosen for The Woolly Good Gathering 2026 festival colourways.
Produced by John Arbon Textiles, a small-scale worsted spinning mill in the UK, this base is known for its reliable quality, traditional machinery, and carefully sourced fibre.
Fibre composition:
• Falklands Merino – soft, bouncy, and mulesing-free
• Bluefaced Leicester – durable, drapey, and British-grown
• Worsted spun for strength, softness, and an even finish
• Non-superwash
• Fully traceable wool through the BWMB scheme
Two festival colourways have been created on this base: one by Iolair Yarn and one by Zakami Yarns.
The colourways can be used individually or combined, as they have been designed to complement each other.
